1. Onboarding

Once your deposit is made, you’ll be sent an onboarding form via email. We’ll need you to complete the form ASAP, it should only take 10-20 minutes. Please gather your logo (if you have one), contact info for your business, business hours, and descriptions of your business, and whatever else we need to know. This is very important and will save both of us time!

2.Choose a theme

Next we’ll send you 3 website themes based on your form submission. To save you money and bring you quality we partner with the best web designers in the world. This way you can see exactly how your website looks before we begin working!

3. Add your content

Once you select a theme, we’ll get started on the basics, and you’ll also be sent a product upload sheet. This will be where you can add your product info (descriptions, price, options, and variants, photos). We’ll upload the products that you send us, and have them on your site.

4. Sit back and relax!

Sit back and relax, while we build you the ecommerce site your business deserves. You’ll receive a link to view all our progress along the way!

What platforms do you use?

Depending on your needs, we will use WordPress or Shopify! If you use a platform like Wix or Squarespace, we can still work with you. However, we highly suggest moving away from those platforms as there are limitations that will slow your business growth down.

How long does it take to create an e-commerce store?

We will aim for 4 weeks, but this is highly dependent on you following our process. We kindly ask you to take the time to fill out our form, and give us as much info about your products as possible before we begin development instead of during. This will save you a lot of time and hassle, we know you’re very busy working on a ton of things!

Can’t I get this cheaper from somebody else?

Probably! But cheap doesn’t necessarily mean better, we’re affordable not cheap. While freelancing platforms are cheaper, the quality of work, communication, and overall hassle of working with a freelancer can be time consuming. Our customer experience and ease paired with our quality at an affordable rate is what separates us.

Do I have to pay monthly?

Only if you need ongoing support at a low rate! If you decide you want to host and maintain your website on your own, we’ll simply transfer the site over to you. We’ll gladly help you set up your own hosting!

How can I communicate with you guys while working on our project?

We ask that you email help@everydayweb.co for updates and revision requests.

How long does it take to create a website?

Because of our attention to quality and processes, it typically takes us 4-6 weeks to complete a website. This is very dependent on you providing us with all the necessary material to complete the website in a timely manner!

How much do I need to pay upfront?

You only need to pay 50% upfront to get started on your project. You pay the remaining balance once the project is completed.

How often am I updated on my project’s progress?

We typically provide you updates once a week related to your project’s progress. You'll receive ongoing notifications via your project board on Notion (our project management tool), you can email or text us anytime for updates. You'll receive a demo link to view the site's progress once we begin development so you can always stay up to date!

What is needed to begin working on a website?

We typically need your logo, images, text, login information and anything else about your business/organization to get started. If you do not have a logo in place, we also offer branding services as well!

What is your refund policy?

We are committed to providing our clients with high-quality websites and ecommerce stores. However, we understand that there may be situations where a refund is necessary.Our refund policy is as follows:

Initial Deposit: The initial deposit is non-refundable. This is because we immediately incur costs for purchasing a domain name and website theme upon receiving the first installment.

Second Installment: If you request a refund within 14 days of making the second installment payment, we will issue a partial refund. The amount of the refund will be calculated based on the work that has been completed up to that point.-

Beyond 14 Days: We do not offer refunds for requests made beyond 14 days of making the second installment payment. This is because we have already invested significant time and resources into your project.**

What if I am not satisfied with my website or ecommerce store? We are confident that you will be happy with your website or ecommerce store. However, if you are not satisfied, we will work with you to address your concerns. If we are unable to resolve your concerns, we may offer you a partial refund or other compensation. This is why we use themes, custom websites are expensive to build, with a theme you'll be able to see what your website/e-commerce store will look like up front. We will of course adjust the theme to your liking.

How can I avoid needing a refund? Make sure you really like your theme. If you do not like the first 3 themes we select we can keep looking until we find the right one. Communicate clearly with us: The best way to avoid needing a refund is to communicate clearly with us from the beginning. Please provide us with detailed information about your website or ecommerce store requirements. Remember, you will receive a link to view the site’s progress - so you can provide feedback at your convenience. Review our work carefully: We will provide you with proofs of your website or ecommerce store before it is finalized. Please review these proofs carefully and let us know if you have any feedback.- **Ask questions:** If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask us. Join your Notion board: We use Notion to keep track of every project. You’ll receive a Notion invite to view what’s next up on your project. This way you can always stay on top of your project.

Will my website integrate with the tools I’m already using?

Will my website be on Google?
